A small size 8-day French gilt Portico clock by Pons Rouen. The high-quality movement having an unusual beat setting screw strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The backplate is signed Pons St Nicolas Rouen. The silvered chapter ring also signed Pons Rouen. The clock has a decorative gridiron-style pendulum.
